Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has vowed to end the protracted years of bad leadership style that had drawn the state backwards.
Ubah who is contesting the Anambra governorship election under the platform of Young Progressives Party (YPP), said what he had done at the national level would not be compared to what he would bring to the state if elected.
Addressing large crowd of supporters
at St Andrews Anglican Church, DCC Nnewi North, the governorship hopeful thanked the people of his town and the state at large for the support given to him so far, praying not to fail in the responsibility.
He promised to unveil his manifesto for the people of the state soon.
He said, “What I’m bringing to Anambra state is enormous considering what I’ve done at the national level which enabled Nigeria to rake in over #750billion annually from exploration and production companies in the oil & gas sectors of the Nigerian economy.
“At the right time I will unveil my practical and juicy package which I have for Ndi Anambra.”
Leader of Hausa community in Anambra South Senatorial District, Suleiman Sani with over 5000 members thanked Ubah for impacting positively on his people.
He said, “I have lived in Nnewi North for over 30 years. I have never seen a personality like Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah who has always fulfilled the promises to the people. I am a witness.”
Sani assured the lawmaker of the support of the hausa community in the area towards the realisation of his dream.
Highlight of the event was the distribution of gift items won by Authority FM radio callers, ranging from Plasma TVs, washing machines, deep freezers, fans, microwave ovens, among others.
