The Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Anambra State, Mr Kehinde Aremu has expressed confidence in the abilities of the 2021 Batch ‘A’ Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Corps Trainees in the State to excel in their chosen vocations.
This declaration was made during the Exhibition/Closing ceremony of SAED in-camp training held today at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Anambra Permanent Orientation Camp Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area.
Aremu praised the performance of the corps members at the exhibition of the skills learnt in less than a week, saying he would be glad if all the corps members could leave the service as entrepreneurs and not job seekers.
He said, “Despite the perceived lowness of Nigeria economy, as an entrepreneur you can make it and you will make it, only if you build on the foundation NYSC has laid for you”.
Some of the trainees who spoke on behalf of the respective skill areas could not hold their joy at completing the training.
They poured encomium on the NYSC for giving them the platform to acquire skills for the benefit of themselves and others, promising to put the lessons learnt to productive use both now and in the future.
