A lecturer at Canaanland University, Ota, owned by billionaire pastor, David Oyedepo, is now sweating in police custody for raping a 17-year-old student of the school.
The 41-year-old lecturer named Dr. Stephen Ikechukwu Ukenna had lured the young lady (name withheld) to his office under the pretext of inviting her to a surprise birthday party he was organizing for one of his friends.
The unsuspecting victim unknowingly walked into a trap and realized it only after the alleged rapist quickly locked the door, pinned her down on his office table and forcefully had sex with her.
The student thereafter called her parents to inform them of the unfortunate incident and her parents reported the case to Ogun State police command who swung into action and arrested the lecturer.
Part of the statement from the Ogun State police command reads,
”But on getting to the lecture’s office, he locked the office door and forcefully had sex with her on top of the table in his office.
“Upon the report, the Area Commander Ota, Acp Muyideen Obe, swiftly deployed his JWC team to the school where the randy lecturer was promptly arrested.
“On interrogation, the suspect admitted having carnal knowledge of the victim, but was unable to give any reason for his action.”
Dr. Stephen Ukenna was arrested on the 11th of March 2021. Prior to his arrest, he was a Business Management lecturer at the university.
