A social-cultural organisation Igbos for a progressive Nigeria, IPAN, have announced the results of their much-awaited essay competition.
Onitshagra.com last month reported that the group which preach “a united peaceful Nigeria” started the contest as part of the activities to mark their one-year anniversary.
Beating other contestants to claim the top prize of N100,000 was Okoli Jessica Onyinyechi, an Integrated Science teacher at Daughters of Divine Love Juniorate, Enugu, Enugu State. Claiming the second position was Ogbaga Sunday who went home with N50,000. Third prize of N30,000 went to Asogwa Chijioke Peter, a medical doctor based in Enugu, Enugu State.
