Senator Hope Uzodinma, the executive Governor of Imo State, is full of thanks for President Muhammadu Buhari for facilitating the building of female and male hostels by NDCC and TETFUND respectively in Imo State University (IMSU).
This, the governor expressed during a visit to IMSU on Saturday 19th December 2020 as part of government’s effort to rehabilitate deteriorating infrastructures of the institution. The governor who was conducted round the school by the vice chancellor, Prof. Victoria Adaobi Obasi, assured Imolites of his determination to restore the past glory of the institution. The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude for the governor’s proactiveness towards solving the challenges confronting IMSU. She recounted how the erosion that destroyed about 11 structures in the institution was arrested by the governor who constructed a standard and efficient drainage channel.
The governor was accompanied during the visit by his Chief of Staff, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie and the Secretary to State Government, Chief Cosmas Iwu.
