Foreign drugs killing local researches - Expert Dr. Marcel Ejiofor laments

Southeast Coordinator, Nigeria Association of Biochemist Practitioners, Dr. Marcel Ejiofor has attributed poor growth of medical researches in the country to reliance of the citizenry on foreign drugs.

Ejiofor made this known at the weekend, while addressing newsmen shortly after launching his book titled: “A Possible Modern Cure For Every Disease, ” at Enugu Aguleri, Anambra State.

He regreted that researchers in medical field in Nigeria face challenges due to leadership’s patronage to research products from western world, saying it was time local researchers were encouraged to ensure their research products got the attention it deserved.

He said, “Nigeria and other African countries have comparative advantage in terms of availability of raw materials of medicinal values. Nigerian researchers have what it takes to produce healthy herbal drugs which cannot be found in the western world.

“When it comes to bioceutical herbal drugs, give it to Nigeria because we have herbal medicine which can cure almost all the diseases if given support by the government.

“Nigerian government must throw away colonial mentality that anything of European is superior to African origin. They should give room for local researchers so that our products can be used here in Nigeria and beyond shores of the country.”

The Anambra born Bioceutical practitioner also lamented that most research works generated at citadels of learning in Nigeria had low impact in the society as they are underused and only read by those in academic field.

He said even research presentations at conferences are underutilized and blamed pharmaceutical industries for continued neglect of indigenous research recommendations in saving human lives.

The founder of World wide Bioceutical Ventures in Aguleri, Anambra, noted with dismay, the enormous gap between the industry and research in Nigeria and said that the two parties must align to lift the medical practice in the country.

Speaking on his research achievements, notably, one conducted on disease cure and therapy, Ejiofor disclosed that every disease relating to human health could be cured using similar methods of the body fluids (Blood, Urine, Saliva) in which the causal agents are found and the discovering of the relationship between the disease therapy and the disease causal agents and the biochemical processes involving the agents.

Ejiofor, member, Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and molecular biology and National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners, said the disease therapy was product of his 11 years research at landmark medical laboratory, where he discovered autologous body fluid to be simple treatment for variety of diseases and viruses that attack human body.

“The modern cure for HIV/AIDS, COVID-19 and other diseases lies in the body fluids in which their causal agents are found preferably in the patient’s own body fluid or from another patient of high compatibility.

“The regimen involves raising the temperature of the body fluid at or above optimum temperature of human enzymes, 37°c, but should not be up to 70°c to avert denaturation of antibody.

“When this takes place, pathogens in the body fluid will die off or become weakened, toxins in the mixture become detoxified, antibody becomes more activated while RNA, be it HIV or Coronavirus becomes degraded into phosphoric acid, Penrose sugar or Dribose.

“When the dead pathogens or activated antibody and other products of catabolism are reabsorbed into the body, would detoxify the active toxins in the body, detach pathogens and boost the patients immunity to resist further disease at the same time,” he added.
